The Spanish nomination includes twenty-two athletes. The biggest star is the world record holder on the 35-kilometer course María Pérez. Just two years ago, at the European Race Walking Team Championships in Poděbrady, she improved the current record to 2:37:15 and starting a very successful season, which she capped off by winning two gold medals at the World Championships in Budapest. She also stood on the podium at the European Race Walking Team Championships in Poděbrady 2021, when she took second place in the 20-kilometer race behind the victorious Italian Antonella Palmisano. She also did well at the Paris Olympics, where she won silver in the 20-kilometer race and gold in the mixed relay. Just like two years ago, she will also compete in the 35-kilometer race in Poděbrady this year.

She will be joined by two other top Spanish competitors in this discipline. Raquel González finished second behind María Peréz at the last European Race Walking Team Championships and also has a bronze medal from the same competition in 2019 in her collection. She won this medal in the 20-kilometer race. González is also a silver medalist at the 2022 European Championships in Munich.

Laura García Caro has three valuable medals from this championship in her collection. In 2017, she won bronze in Poděbrady. Two years later, she won silver in Alytus, Lithuania, and in the 2021 season, she made a successful bronze comeback in Poděbrady. At last year's European Championships in Rome, she finished just short of the podium in fourth place.

The most experienced member of the Spanish team will be 2015 world champion Miguel Ángel López. He won four valuable metals at the European Race Walking Team Championships. He celebrated his first one in 2013, when he won silver in Dudince. Two years later, he even won on home soil in Murcia, repeated his silver in Poděbrady 2017, and two years ago, he won bronze at the Spa Colonnade.
